Have done studies in land reform laws across states of India. Have been actively

working actively with their organization based in Chirala in Prakasam District, India.
Have organized seminars and workshops on artisan themes and relevance of local
markets for them. Further, have also organized programmes on impact of economic
reforms on poor.

1. The Centre for Gandhian Economic Thought organized a Round Table Discussion on the
theme of “Value and Economic Performance”, 30 January 2011. There were about 30
participants from various social science, humanities and science disciplines, in the
seminar, which was jointly organized with the NSS Cell of the University.

2. The Centre for Gandhian Economic Thought organized seminar “Education : Meaning and
Means”, 02 October 2010. There were about 150 participants from various social science,
humanities and science disciplines, in the seminar, which was jointly organized with the
NSS Cell of the University. The seminar received partial financial support from the
Andhra Pradesh State Council of Science & Technology (APCOST), Hyderabad.

3. The Centre for Gandhian Economic Thought organized a One-Day Discussion Meet on,
“Constructive Programme And Economy” on 30 January 2010.

4. The Centre for Gandhian Economic Thought organized a One-Day National Wrokshop on
“Gandhi’s vision and New Directions for Economic Theory”, 15 December 2008. This
workshop was preparatory event to discuss the vision of the Centre for Gandhian
Economic Thought and this effort originated in the Department of Economics.
