can see as a list of everything you will do for this project.  
 
Essential Question:  What are the dangers of genocide and how can it be 
prevented? 

Entry Event: 8 Stages of  Learn about the ​8 Stages of Genocide​ and  ✓  
Genocide Notes   prevention by taking Sketchnotes or Cornell 
notes, followed by Peardeck Vocabulary Factory 
activity 

Selecting a Topic  Students will read the ​case studies​ on genocides  ✓

Research  learn the basic information about their chosen 
genocide

The Psychology of Evil  Take ​Sketchnotes​ on ​The Psychology of Evil​ and  ✓  


participate in whole class discussion. Students will 
then discuss with their groups how it relates to 
their genocide.  

Project Menu + Rubric  Discussion about ​project rubric​ and ​choice menu​.  ✓  
Discussion  Begin creating final product.
