In your letter, you wanted to know more about the best tourist attraction in Sabah. Well, the
favourite attraction is none other than Kinabalu Park. It is located about 2 hours from Kota
Kinabalu. The journey takes on a long and winding mountain road with spectacular views of the
Crocker Range. Kinabalu Park is possibly the most scenic national park in Malaysia.

The star attraction here is Mount Kinabalu. Mount Kinabalu is the highest mountain in
Malaysia. It stands over 4,000 metres tall. This mountain is also a World Heritage Site. The
dense jungles contain species of flora and fauna that are protected. Thousands of avid mountain

Once upon a time, there lived a poor girl named Sara. She lived with her mother at the
edge of a jungle. Every day, Sara would go into the jungle to look for food.
One day, when she was near a cave in the jungle, she saw a bird. It had beautiful red and
gold feathers. The bird was lying on the ground and looked very tired. When it saw Sara, it
begged her for help. It told that a few boys had thrown stones at it and broke its wings.
Sara helped the bird and took it home. She nursed the bird and after a week, the bird was
well and its wings had healed. The bird thanked Sara and it sang a song for her. Sara could
not believe her ears. It was the sweetest song she had ever heard.
The next morning, Sara took the bird to the market. She sat at a corner near the market and
the bird started to sing. Many people came near to listen to the sweet song. They were
amazed with the bird’s voice. Some people gave Sara money. Sara collected a lot of money
that day. Now, Sara could buy food and clothes for her and her mother. They were no longer
