Students can interact with a smart board project that
matches words and definitions as rnell as pictures. The class
r.vill make a booklet going over parts of a plant with
definitions and pictures. Students needing scaffolding will
work with a partner to give them an extra hand. ESOL
students will be able to work with a partner as well and can
benefit from pictures.
Planting plant- To summarize the lesson each student will
receive a seed with dirt in a dixie cup so they can grow their
own plant. They will be able to see how the plant grows with
sunlight and water. The students will also receive a post-test
that is the same as the pre-test they took in the beginning of
the lesson.
