Based on the video, it shows 4 people are in the same helicopter.

There are 4 people are in situations where 2 of them are trying to build a
conversation by trying to use American-style English with their target is a
native American. initially they just greet each other by using body language
that is smiling and nodding their heads, which means showing friendly and
welcome. The first impression I see from 2 people america, they try to keep
abreast of the conversation made by 2 other people (arabian).

However, over time they looked confused and did not understand
what the arabian had said, which he tried to speak in English but with a
strong arabic accent. Furthermore, the two Americans were slightly
disturbed by the two Arabic conversations, because they spoke Arabic
which they did not understand at all the meaning of the conversation. They
just try to fathom what the meaning of some words / phrases are spoken.
while the words they get and which they try to understand are the words
that make misunderstandings emerge between them. misunderstanding
occurs because the two arabian do not pay attention to aspects of
conversation contained in their conversation, so that the negative thoughts
of the 2 people who think that they are terrorists or criminals.

From the case shown in the video. We can say that Language, culture,
and people are inseparable. All these aspects are related language becomes
a tool for human being, and human beings need language as their
communication tool. The existence of a language will also exist if humans
are using it. Whereas for culture, every culture will be attached to each
person and their language. If a language culture is attached to the language
user, it can not be denied that they will use the same language even in their
conversation using another language. For instance, language culture like
their accents in speech, will be carried away in a process where they try to
use other languages outside their native language.

From the above case example we can also take a lesson, if racism in
using language should also be considered, we must pay attention to the
environment where we can use our native language without triggering a
misunderstanding because of the difference between the language we use.

Choosing the right topic of conversation and vocabulary can also be a

reason to minimize the awkwardness in an inter-language conversation.
We also have to tolerate our target conversation, by not speaking in our
native language fully. To further avoid language gaps and be more
universal by wanting to learn the other language than our native language
or what we usually call a process to achieving or mastering our second
languange with a positive maxim in language control.
