CHAPTER 5

SUMMARY, CONCLUSION, RECOMMENDATION

This chapter presents the summary of the significant findings of the study of the
conducted, the conclusions derived and recommendations based from the analysis of the
information of the data gathered using statistical tools.

SUMMARY

The research study aimed to determined the perception level of the Grade 12students
on the Immersion Program. Specifically, to answer the statement of the problem on the
profile of the respondents in terms of gender, age, strand, the different perception level of
the Grade 12 students in terms of working area assignment of the different strands and the
appropriation towards learning. Also the significant difference between the perception
level on the different strands of Grade 12 students on the Immersion Program.

The study is limited only to 100 respondents from different strands of Grade 12
students in Pangasinan National High School.

The researcher used the descriptive design which was suited to method that answers to
the stated problems of the perception level of the Grade 12 students on Immersion
Program. After the data gathered from the respondents using the survey questionnaire,
tabulation, analization and interpretation was done.

To obtain valid reliable results from the raw data gathered, appropriate statistical tools
were employed.

FINDINGS

1.0 On the statement of the problem no 1, there are 100 grade 12 male and female
students who answered the survey questionnaire with the range age of 17-19 years old in
all strand at Pangasinan National High School.

2.0 The different level of perception of Grade 12 students in relevance working area
assignment in all strand such as ABM, GAS, HUMSS, STEM, TVL strand is agree,
meaning they are satisfied on what they have learned in the immersion place, and in the
relevance working area assignment is they are all agree, meaning the grade 12 students
who work on the immersion is not really satisfied on the working area assignment,

because it is not suited to their course preference and the given 80 hours are not enough
to really learned in the immersion area.

3.0The different perception level of the grade 12 students on the immersion program
with regards to the relevance working area assignment are just agree, meaning they are
not really satisfied on what they learn, and appropriation towards learning are just agree
and the given 80 hours is not enough to compensate on the learning of every students.

4.0 There is no significant difference between the levels of perception of grade 12

students on different strands.

CONCLUSIONS

The following conclusions were derived from the results of the analysis of the findings.

1. The researcher’s conclude that there are 100 grade 12 male and female students who
answered the survey questionnaire with the range age of 17-19 years old in all strand.

2. The different perception of grade 12 students in all strands such as ABM, GAS,
HUMSS, STEM, TVL are the same in their perceptions on immersion program.

3. The different perception level of Grade 12 students with regard to the relevance
working area assignment and appropriation towards learningand their learnings are not
enough for them to call themselves prepare in college.

4. We therefore conclude that the different level of perception of grade 12 students

between different strands are all the same.

RECOMMENDATIONS

1. The researchers suggested to use the SLOVIN’s formula to determine the population
sample size and the stratified random sampling to get the exact respondents per strand.

2. The students should be in the right workplace suited in their course preference to gain
more knowledge and be prepared in the college.

3. The working area assignment should properly endorse by strands.

4. The 80 hour time should enlarge more because 80 hours is not enough to gain
knowledge and gain more experience in the workplace
