1-7. Troubleshooting
The DFS-900M is a compact switcher that is compatible with both SD system and HD system and has a digital multieffect
function.
This circuit description covers the following items.
1. DFS-900M (processor unit)
2. BKDF-901 (control panel)
3. BKDF-902 (control panel)
4. BKDF-910 (PR9 SDII1 board)
5. BKDF-940 (PR9 DME1 board)
6. BKDF-950 (PR9 MV1 board)
7. BKDF-960 (PR9 SDIO1 board)
SBC Board
The SBC board has the following main functions.
. Sends operation panel operational information to the processor (DFS-900M).
. Displays the GUI menu.
. Reads file data and system data from and writes them to a USB memory device.
The SBC board sends operation panel operational information received from the CP9 CPU1 board through the RS-232C
interface to the processor through the TO PROCESSOR connector (Ethernet). This board also sends LED ON/OFF infor-
mation and menu information to be displayed on the vacuum fluorescent display to the CP9 CPU1 board, and outputs the
GUI menu from the EXT DISPLAY connector.
Furthermore, this board sends and receives file data and system data to/from a USB memory connected to the USB connec-
tor (USB MEMORY) on the CP9 USB1 board through the CP9 USB2 board with the USB interface. This board also re-
ceives external touch panel and mouse operation information through the USB connector (DEVICE) on the CP9 USB2
board.
The compact flash card contains OS and application programs.
