Description:
Schneider Electric is a global specialist in energy management. The company is well
known for its unique vision, progressive management and above all, it’s exemplary
Quality.
This project is a development project for hundreds of integrations as part of bridge
implementation replacing all legacy application databases to SAP. This is
implemented for some plants (USP1) as part of bridge 1 where the users will this as
a base going ahead for all the remaining plants. It involves about 70% of
WebMethods and around 100 interfaces were developed in the span of four months.
Responsibilities:

• Developed Flow services and Java Services.


• Designed and developed extensive error handling solution.
• Configured Trading Partners to exchange Business Documents and created
Partner profiles, using Profile Assistants
• Configured Trading Networks to send the data to different partners.
• Configured the document attributes like SenderId, RecieverId,

Description:
The integration solution involving Web Methods in GE power
Systems involves over 4000 adapters and more than 900
Integrations. The GAMS-B7 which is currently one of the major
projects in GE Power Systems integrates the existing legacy
systems using Oracle, Mainframes, Sybase, Siebel etc as databases
with applications like ONGUS, NRPS (Oracle Databases), Pegasus
(Sybase Database), Windows Sticker (Java Client), COPICS
(Mainframe Application), and ONGUS, NRPS and AERO using Java
and other web applications. The Middleware software is developed
using Web Methods. Active works aids in using the existing
databases with the newly developed applications, thus providing a
reliable availability of the data. This allows the users in various
locations of GE across US and rest of the world to access required
information from various applications using different databases.

Responsibilities:
• Making sure the team solves the issues in accordance with the SLA.
• Coordinating with different applications in solving production issues and
foreseeing possible enhancements.
• Monitoring the various Integration servers, Broker servers and proactively
with Admin team to resolve various issues before the end user reports
problems.
• Analysis and understand the business flow of technical services operation.
• Providing Production Support for Integrations. Monitoring the ATC log tables
to find out the errors logged as part of Support.

DESCRIPTION

SFM is about integration of 50 systems of Versatel. This project is about


Analysis and Development (including Unit Testing) of the Service Fulfillment
Management (SFM) system. SFM deals with development of the interface
components for ISDN and IPVPN networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analysis of the requirements given by the client


• Contribution towards testing the integrations in local and Development
Instances.
• Development of the integrations in webMethods 6.1 and 6.5 environment
• Involved in code changing and code walkthrough.
