AFFIDAVIT

I, GRETECHRN BARRETO, of legl age, single, a resident of Bantayan, Dumaguete

City, after having been duly sworn in accordance with law, do hereby depose and state that:
1. I am the I am the girlfriend of accused Gerald Adanza Sienes;

2. That on or about 6:40 o’clock in the evening of December 4, 2013together with my

boyfriend Gerald Adanza Sienes, we were at the canteen of the passenger terminal of Pier
3, I bought some candies and several packs of junk foods, Gerald also bought a pack of
mighty cigarettes.

3. Their after, when we were about to board the ship Lapu Lapu Ferry 8 bound for
Cataingan when we passed through the walk-through metal detector at the security
inspection area of CPA Passenger terminal 2, Pier 3, one of the X-ray operator identified
as X.O. Felan, frisked boyfriend Gerald and took his sling bag and open it;

4. He then called his co- X- ray Operator identified as X.O. Alino and let him check and
examine it, but X.O. Felan intentionally covered Alino so tht my boyfriend Gerald cannot
see what did X.O. Felan doing when he examine the sling bag, then he announced that
tha sling bag of Gerald contained several sticks of rolled paper containing crushed
marijuana.

5. I also heard that X.O. Felan demanded my boyfriend Gerald to settle it for Thirty
Thousand (30,000.00) to avoid delay of our travel, if not they will call for police
assistance to indict him for violation selling and transporting illegal drugs.

6. After a few minutes a police officer arrived, identified as PP/Insp. Godwin Pilapil of Port
Police Security Division;

7. Then they brought Gerald to the Intelligence Investigation Office, were they conducted
and inventory of the alleged seized item from Gerald and they arrested him.

8. I am voluntarily executing this affidavit to attest to the truthfulness of the foregoing facts
and to support the outright dismissal of the complaint filed against me.
