Narrative:
On March 6, 2018, at approximately 17:34 hours, a fatal traffic crash occurred on Interstate 75
southbound travel lanes at the 41 mile post. V01 a 2001 Ford F-150, black in color was
traveling southbound on Interstate 75 on the outside travel lane. V02 a 2018 Ford F-350
Passenger Van, white in color was traveling southbound on Interstate 75 on the inside travel
lane. V01 while traveling southbound veered into the inside travel lane, and struck the right
side of V02 with its left side. After the collision, both V01 and V02 were redirected into the
grass median shoulder. While in the median grass shoulder both vehicles had separated. V01
continued in an easterly direction and overturned several times. V02 continued in a
northeasterly direction overturning several times within the grass median, ejecting a female
occupant. As V02 continued to overturn, it continued across the northbound travel lanes to the
outside paved shoulder. V02 came to final rest on its left side facing in a northerly direction.
V01 came to final rest within the grass median on its right side facing in a southerly direction.
The crash remains under investigation.
