Wall: It kept Us Safe and Happy

Richard Garcia

What is a wall? According to my research, Wikipedia said that a wall is a structure that defines
an area, carries a load, or provides shelter or security. But there is a child who has wall is different, it is
unique. It works with light to keep something grow a fruit that becomes its strength to keep itself strong
and protective.

Ralph Waldo Emerson once stated that, “Every wall is a Door.” Actually, that line defines the
child’s wall. A wall that shows him door to understand what is life, a wall that makes a door to impart
him happiness and a wall that gives me door to see the light of our world.

Way back from November 27, 2000, this child was born. A child who grew up with a wall on his
side. His wall gives all his needs.

When he is still young, the wall gives every wants of the child but not all. Not all because the
wall wants the child to grow that gets spoiled. Sometimes, the child gets disappointed on some things
that the wall doesn’t want but as the child grew up, he realized that it’s a big help that the wall treat him
like that.

When it comes to studies of the child, the wall gives its best shot to support his needs, financial,
and more but he felt no moral support. The wall showed him that it discourages him every time the child
has an achievement or the child will do something. That’s the reason why the wall makes itself unique.
Behind the negative doing, inside it, it really cares about the child’s achievement. The wall wants teach
the boy something. Something that the child realized as the wall repeats the doing. The wall taught the
child to realize that people will always pull you down as you are flying high. So don’t let yourself get
pulled down but just fly and fly and show them they are wrong. Extraordinary right?

After all, the child’s wall on this article is father which is his father. A father that takes care his
family. A father that is cruel sometimes but loves the child and his family. A father that gave his best to
become the a good father to his children and a good husband to his wife. A father that is kind not just to
his family but the people around him. A father that makes his family comfortable by working hard as
hard as he can. And a father that stands as the wall of his family. A wall that can be lean on if something
goes wrong. A wall that protects his family from harm. A wall of a growing child that inspired him. A wall
that gave the child a reason to strive hard on his study for a great future.

A future that is not just for the child’s self but the future of his family. A child that will become
successful and the child who wrote this article.
