This element project consists of 2 main parts.
1. An individually constructed element brochure (see page on Element Brochure).
2. A group (groups will be assigned) created advertising poster and infomercial presentation
based on one of the group member’s element.
Part 1: Individual element brochures (50 points) – DUE at beginning of class on _______________.
You will be creating an element brochure that contains information on the element assigned to you.
The general layout of the brochure and the necessary information on each page of the brochure is
included on a separate Element Brochure page. The brochure should be creative and neat, and should
be designed with the idea that it will be used to advertise your element. Make sure you have covered
all necessary aspects of the brochure. A grading rubric indicating the point values for each portion of
the brochure is attached. THE RUBRIC MUST BE TURNED IN WITH YOUR BROCHURE!
Part 2: Group Advertising Campaign (100 points) – Performances on _________________________.
The requirements for this portion of the project are as follows (See Advertising Poster and Infomercial
Grading Rubric for additional details)
1. Within your group determine whose element and brochure you will use. It would be best to
pick an element that seems very marketable.
2. Create an advertising poster for your element
Be sure to include:

3. Create an infomercial.
Your group must present a 23 minute infomercial trying to sell your element. All individuals
in the group must have an active speaking role during your presentation. You must bring and
use at least 1 prop and you must reference your poster. EACH INDIVIDUAL MUST GIVE
ME THE ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN RUBRIC AND EACH GROUP MUST PROVIDE
ME 1 COPY OF YOUR SCRIPT at the beginning of your performance.
