A new Public Policy Polling survey finds the Democratic primary race in Illinois’ 3rd
Congressional district between Dan Lipinski and Marie Newman to be a dead heat, with:

 43% supporting Lipinski,

 41% supporting Newman and
 15% not sure.

Methodology:

 The survey was conducted from February 27-28, 2018.

 PPP surveyed 648 IL-03 likely Democratic primary voters
 The margin of error is +/- 3.9%.
 This poll was conducted by automated telephone interviews.
 The breakdown of those who participated in the survey are:
o 55% women, 45% men
o 16% Hispanic or Latino, 71% white, 7% African-American, 6% other
o 31% aged 18-45, 46% aged 46-65, 23% older than age 65
