ADDENDUM NO. 2 TO ALL OFFERORS: 2 pages, total

Reference – Request For Proposals: RFP 49-18sm


Title: Professional Architectural/Engineering Services, New
Middle School
Dated: January 10, 2018
Sealed Proposals Due: February 28, 2018 @ 2:30 p.m.

The following revisions are made to the original Request For Proposals noted:

Section 5.2, Specific Proposal Requirements, 5.2.2, revised additional language noted next to original
text.

Location of the Offeror’s headquarters; nearest offices, applicable phone, facsimile numbers, e-mail address;
and any other pertinent information relative to the size and organizational structure of the company. Regardless
of corporate location, provide a statement confirming the Offeror’s willingness to locate personnel directly
associated with the oversight of construction of their design, within a two-hour distance of the construction site,
to avoid any unnecessary delays during construction of the new middle school.

Section 5.2, Specific Proposal Requirements, 5.2.3, revised additional language noted next to original
text (will now appear as the last sentence, added to that section).

Provide a narrative of middle school design and construction projects similar in size and scope to this project;
Offerors shall provide photos of the design and final constructed school, along with a concise summary of the
project including length of contract time from design through final construction; initial design construction
estimate; final construction cost, inclusive of change orders; and any challenges encountered during the middle
school project. Provide breakdown of project change orders, indicating total quantity and indicate if they were
Owner directed, Architect directed, or other, for our review and consideration of the effect on the total project.

Section 6.1, Evaluation Criteria, are REPLACED with the following:

6.1.1 Qualification of the Offeror to provide new middle school design, either new or prototypical re-design,
and other required services, based on resumes provided, experience of subcontractors, and references
provided. (25 points)
6.1.2 Experience of Offeror as demonstrated by middle school design and construction projects of similar size
and scope, including project summary, length of project through construction, original estimated
construction cost and final construction cost, and all change orders including quantity and source of
change order. (25 points)
6.1.3 Offeror’s written narrative/approach to fulfilling services, both as outlined in Section 3 and, in meeting
the Owner’s Middle School Philosophy and Desired Outcomes, Section 2.1. (35 points)
6.1.4 Overall completeness of proposal (15 points)

All other specifications, terms and conditions remain unchanged.

substitute for your signature on the original RFP document. The original RFP document must be
