Impending Dangers

1. Downgrading of Pay Scales

 25-02-1999 to be treated as an Upgradtion ( one MACP to be
withdrawn). Orders are likely to be issued very soon.

2. Political Campaign.
 Against the closure of LPTs & Terrestrial Transmission.

While for the former, we may have to knock the

doors of Courts and hire best lawyers, for the latter
we have to meet the leaders of various political
parties, print booklets highlighting issues arising out
of it.
For both of the above, we need substantial
financial assistance.

We request members to donate liberally, with a

minimum of Rs.1000/-, so as to enable us to fight to
save ourselves from the above dangers.
