Creating a list of their favorite things that will serve as reference for their larger assignments which will all relate to their individual favorites.

Each student will write a list of 10 of their favorite things which will serve as the base for the rest of the lessons assignments.

Learning Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
Write in complete sentences by identifying and practicing correct spelling and the use of nouns. They will also be incorporating these writing
techniques in cursive format.
The student’s assignments will surround the theme of “All about me”, this will allow them to share with their classmates a little more about
themselves and will make some more difficult writing assignments a little less challenging when we incorporate new writing techniques.
Pre-Assessment:

- Incorporate a bingo game where they will match words to its matching image, this will be done in both English and Spanish to reinforce their
knowledge.
- Provide each student with a take home vocabulary set to practice after school.
- The summative assignment (test) will be adjusted to fit the students first language so he/she can be tested in their new or second language to
identify their progress.
