body. As we know that human body
consists of various elements. In this topic,
you will read texts related to substances in
human body. First, please read the
following text.
Now let’s review the text!
The title of the text is “Two Types of
Carbohydrates”. From the title, we could
predict that the whole text will mainly
focus on the carbohydrates.
The first paragraph tells about the
introduction of the carbohydrate. It’s
mentioned there that there are two major
types of carbohydrates, specifically those
which are contained in foods. That is the
general statement that gives us a hint about
what is going to be explained in the next
paragraph.
The second paragraph explains about the
first type of carbohydrate. It elaborates
more about the type, such as where it is
found and what it does to the body.
Finally, the last paragraph explains about
the second type of carbohydrate since it is
