11.1 MULTI ENGINE GROUND TRAINING SYLLABUS

11.1.1 GENERAL

This course is designed to produce of competent pilot who will be


capable of conducting safe and effective flight while exercising the
privilege granted by their license and ratings and understand the
system, description and operation of the aircraft to fulfill their
knowledge how to fly the aircraft properly, safely and comfortably to
meet the requirements of flight safety standard.

11.1.2 OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course the participants will be able to:

 Identify how to compute and control the weight and balance


condition of multi engine airplanes.
 Identify instrument procedures in the multi-engines airplane with
both engines operating and with one engine inoperative.

11.1.3 COURSE CONTENT


11.1.3.1 THE MULTI ENGINE SCENE 2 HOURS
a. Rationale for 2 (two) or more engines
b. Safety of multi engine,history of accidents.
c. Configurations of multi engines aeroplanes

11.1.3.2 THE ENGINE FAILURE PROBLEM 2 HOURS
