Part 4 Presentation abstract and summary
You will increase your chances of selection if it is clear from your summary that:
there is clear reference to innovation and best practice
your session is of practical use for participants
your audience can apply your experience to their own context (especially if your session
describes a local course, project or product/service)
Summary
This should detail exactly what you intend to talk about in the session and how it will be structured.
This summary will be used by the Application Panel as a basis for selection. You should write between
200 and 250 words. You can also use the same summary in the IATEFL Speaker Proposal Form if you
are successful.
Please say why you support the application. Refer to your knowledge of the applicant, issues
relevant to his/her learning and development plan, the business area itself and your priorities.
