Introduction
These human body printables are meant to be used as a supplement to your main biol-
ogy curriculum. I recommend using a science spine or reference book that you may use
to fill out the diagrams.
Book list
Visit this link below for human body book ideas that you can get from the library or pur-
chase.
How to print
I like to reuse items that are not going to be written in like puzzles and game boards.
Print out onto paper and laminate them or cover them with contact paper or you can
just print them out onto cardstock for more durability.
Cell Membrane - located inside the cell wall, separates the cell
from its surrounding, it is selectively permeable and controls
what enters/leaves the cell.
Lysosome - contains enzymes that can break down other molecules, digests
unwanted material in the cytoplasm
Cytoplasm
Nucleus
Nucleolus
Mitochondria
Endoplasmic Reticulum
Vacuole
Lysosome
Ribosomes
Large storage cell that holds nutrients Reads the RNA and links amino acids
or even waste, very large in plant cell together to make protein
compared to animal cell
The large organs can be printed out, colored and laminated if preferred to be placed
on a life sized outline of your child on butcher paper.
3-part cards
Print out the cards, one set will have the labels, cut out the labels from the second set.
Mix those up. Have the child locate the pair of cards and then find the missing label to
match it up.

Booklets
The flap book can be cut along the solid lines and folded along the dotted lines. Cut
and paste the answers into the booklets. There is one to cut and one that can be traced
for those who are learning to write. Older children can be asked to research their an-
swers.

Color the side of the heart that receives oxygenated blood red
and the side of the heart that receives blood low in oxygen in blue.
Place the bingo cards in one pile. Turn the bingo cards over one at a time, as the cards
are pulled up place a marker on the card if you have the matching organ or body sys-
tem. The first player to get a full row, yells Bingo! You win. Rows can be vertical, hori-
zontal or diagonal.
Memory
Print out the cards, shuffle them, and flip them over then lay them all out. Turn over 2
at a time on your turn to make a pair. Turn them back and the next player goes and
tries to find a matching pair. Whoever has the most pairs wins.
Board game
Print out the die and glue the sides together to make a cube. Cut along the solid lines
and fold along the dotted lines. To use the printed die, the player rolls the die and says
the name of the organ or body system. If it’s correct they get to move their object to
the next space with the same object. If you use a number die, they roll and move to the
space, to stay there they must name the organ or body system or they have to go back.
