Thank you so much for providing a notarized affidavit in support of the initiated measure petition we filed on January 31!

In order to maximize the likelihood of success in November, we have decided to submit two more petitions to the Secretary of State. We
then use only one of the three, of course. Our goal is to secure from the Secretary and the Attorney General the most favorable possible
ballot title, which will be what the voters see on their official ballots. The title plays a major role in a ballot measure's success.

To fully express your commitment to this initiative, we ask you to sponsor two more versions of the measure: Version A and Version B, in
addition to your sponsorship of the version submitted on January 31. We are pleased that this gives another opportunity to the four spons
whose affidavits were not delivered in time for the first version.

As before, the final draft amendments are attached. Version A includes the same policies as before in Sections 1 and 2, and it has a
considerably simplified version of the ethics commission. Version B has the policies without the ethics commission.

Please do not distribute the drafts further, to prevent confusion with the official version that will circulate after possible revisions through t
Secretary of State verification process. A sponsorship form for each of the two versions is attached.

If you wish to be a sponsor, we must receive signed, notarized originals by Wednesday, February 28.

To join us in supporting common-sense accountability in North Dakota government, please, once again:

1. Print both of the attached sponsor forms (note the small letter "a" or "b" in the lower left corner of each, to be sure you have two diffe
forms)
2. Take the forms to a notary
3. Sign it in front of a notary (not a relative or another amendment sponsor)
4. If you are in Bismarck, either mail as below or email/call Ellen to arrange to meet.
5. Mail the signed, notarized form to arrive by Wednesday Feb. 28* to:
NDPI, Inc.
9500 66th St. NE
Bismarck, ND 58503
