I planned a week of activities as the leader for the Intermediate camp (ages 10-12), in the months
leading up to the camp, all based on the theme “Going Green.” I was also the chaplain for the Junior

NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL CHAIR, PRIMATE’S WORLD RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT FUND
(PWRDF), CANADA
Fall 2012- May 2016
PWRDF is the Anglican Church of Canada’s relief and development agency, and the national youth
council of PWRDF is made up of young Anglicans (ages 16-30) and representatives from partner
agencies, from across Canada. They create resources, do public speaking engagements, and have a
variety of subcommittees that complete different tasks to further the work of the organization. From
2013 to 2016, I was the chair. My work included doing public speaking engagements at churches and
youth events, my subcommittee work for the nominations committee, the manual committee and
the resource committee, and my duties as chair. In my capacity as chair, I scheduled 10-15 people
from across Canada onto conference calls, created agendas and reports, and helped the coordinator
plan our conferences. As chair, I was the voice of the council to partnering organizations by way of
email, letters and phone calls.
