Dear Mr. Walters:
James S. Cooper
Non-Lawyer Member
The Commission on Judicial Qualifications considers and investigates
Robert W. Fairchild complaints of alleged unethical conduct of state court judges under the Code of
Judge Member
Judicial Conduct. The powers of the Commission are not the same as those of an
Allen G. Glendenning appellate court. The Commission has no jurisdiction to consider legal issues or
Lawyer Member matters which involve the judicial discretion of a judge in deciding a case. Those
Larry D. Hendricks decisions must be appealed to a higher court if errors are thought to have occurred.
Judge Member
The above-captioned complaint will, however, be referred to the Commission
Norman R. Kelly and will be placed on the Commission's February 2,2018, meeting agenda for review
Lawyer Member
of any potential ethical violations.
Rosemary Kolich, S.c.L.
Non-Lawyer Member The Disciplinary Administrator's Office reviews complaints against
Susan Lynn attorneys. If you wish to file a complaint against an attorney, you will need to contact
Non-Lawyer Member their office. Enclosed is a brochure regarding complaints about lawyer services.
