I/we hereby tender as per bill of quantities schedule “B” for the execution for the U.P.Avas
Evam Vikas Parishad of the work specified in the underwritten memorandum within the time
specified in such memorandum at the rates in the schedule “B” and in all respects in accordance
with the specification, Design, Drawing and instructions in writing referred to in rule. I hereof and in
clause 2 of the conditions of contract and with such materials as per provided for by. And in all
other respects in accordance with such conditions so far as applicable.

Eighteen months.
# Should this tender be accepted, I/We hereby agree to abide by and fulfill all the terms and
provisions of the conditions of contracts annexed to the approved set of contract documents, or
in defaults there to Forfeit and pay to the U.P. Avas Evam Vikas Parishad or their successors in
office the sum of money mentioned in the said conditions.
The sum of Rs. 1.60 Lacs is herewith forwarded as earnest money, the full value of which shall be
retained by the Parishad on account of the security deposits specified in clause 1 of the conditions of
contract.

In consideration of the convenient for the payment by and on behalf of the said Parishad herein
after contained contractor has hereby covenants with the Parishad that he will supply all necessary
materials and execute and complete in thoroughly sound and workmanlike manner and afterward maintain
for the requisite period stated in the said condition all the works set out in the said in specifications and
schedule of rates hereto attached and signed by the contractor and as explained in the said drawings here
to attached in accordance in every respect with requirements stipulations and condition hereto attached.
In consideration of the convenat by the contractor herein before contained and said parishad
hereby convenants with the contractor to pay him for the execution completion and maintenance of
the work as aforesaid according to the rates given in the schedule of rates hereto attached and at the
time and in the manner and subject to the conditions hereto attached.
It is hereby agreed and declare that all the provisions of the said conditions drawings
specifications and schedule of rates mark from page no… to page no. … And hereby attached shall
be as binding upon the contractor and upon the said parishad if the same and has been repeated
herein and shall be read as part of the agreement.

Additional Special conditions, Specifications, Instruction and
Important Notes.
No extra cost of claim will be admissible for adopting these special condition and specifications mentioned in the following
parts. These conditions should therefore be thoroughly studied and taken into account by the contractor while tendering and
signing the contract/agreement.
1. All work should be carried out as per latest U.P. Avas Evam Vikas Parishad specifications laid down for E/M work.
2. All the items, fixtures to be used on the work shall be as per drawing & U.P. Avas Evam Vikas Parishad specifications
and material of sample shall have to be got approved by the E/I, necessary drawing may be made available by the E/I.
3. The contractor must visit site and office and understand the specifications of material of the works.
4. The contractor shall only store such material at the site which are to be used in the work. Material which are not to be
used in the work or material of inferior quality shall not be stored at site without the written permission of the E/I. The
Board is not bound to provide free storage or place to the contractor. Contractor shall have to make its own arrangement
at his own cost.
5. The contractor shall remove all defects till the work is handed over of the Health Department and he will co-operate and
help in handing over the works.
6. The work shall be opened for inspection by technical audit cell or any inspecting authority constituted by the
PARISHAD defects pointed out by them will have to be removed by the contractor at his own cost within five years of
finalization of the bond in case the contractor fails to rectify those defects actions for recovery of amount required for
rectification of these defects shall however be taken by the parishad Authority.
7. The contractor to whom the work is allotted may have to produce on demand by the parishad, purchase vouchers.
challan etc. from the principal manufacturer or authorised dealer for verification of correct supply of material. The
contractor will have to submit on demand the satisfactory test certificates of material used in the works which shall be
got issued form the principal manufacturer or dealer.
8. Quantity of materials are approximate which may vary on either side upto any extent during execution of work which
shall not effect the tendered rates and no claim on account of the variation in the work shall be entertained.
9. The Parishad is not responsible for arranging any material whatsoever and the contractor will have to complete the
work within specified time with specified material. Non availability of material or delay in arrival of the consignment
shall not be entertained as an excuse for extension of time for completion of work.
10. TENDER WILL REMAIN VALID FOR ACCEPTANCE TO THREE MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF OPENING
THE TENDER. Tenderers will have no right to revise the tendered rates within this period. However the Parishad my
negotiate in this context.
11. The contractor shall submit drawings of the electrification work executed by him in detail on the layout plan in four
copies before submission of the final bill along with no claim certificate on the prescribed profarma.
12. MODE OF QUOTING THE RATES
The tenderers shall quote their rates are Item Wise basis in figure as well as in words.
13. The contractor shall take care that while constructing the lines and sub-stations, the Indian Electricity Rules with latest
amendments are followed in general and specially in respect of clearance, sag and safety etc. The sagging shall be
strictly as per ISS and to the entire satisfaction of the E/I.
14. The components of equipment required for completion of work shall stand Guarantee/Warranty of its respective
manufacturer from the date of supply of material for a period of 18 months and 12 month from the date of
commissioning or handing over.
15. The portion of the building, road, sewers: water lines etc. damaged during execution of work, shall be repaired properly
to original finish by contractor at his own cont to the entire satisfaction of E/I.
16. The successful tender/contractor will be fully responsible for any damage/accident caused to their labour or any damage
to third party or their property or Parishad's property during execution of works.
17. In case of any dispute arising in execution of the agreement the matter will be referred to the concerning Joint Director
of the Parishad for decision which will be final and binding on the contractor.
18. The contractor shall not sublet his contract other than the raw materials without the consent in writing of the concerned
Executive Engineer of Parishad.
19. The Contractor shall at all times provide sufficient notice and caution board, lights and watchman etc. to protect warn
the public and guard the work at his own cost.
20.a. 90% payment of the works executed may be paid to the contractor as running payment.
b. Balance 10% payment may be released to the contractor after six month from the date of finalization of C.B.
Sanction of variation, Extra item and extension of time if any from the competent authority or within one month
after the handling over to the concerning department whichever is later.
21. The contractor will have to complete all the work within the time allowed but due to any reasonable unavoidable
circumstances if the contractor requires the extension of time, he will apply to the concerned Executive Engineer on
inland letter's through registered post giving full details of reasons. He will further submit application in two copies
on prescribed Performa for this purpose. Which may be considered for extension of time by the competent authority
or the Parishad.
22. This contractor will also maintain first aid box etc. at the site of the work and also follow the relevant regulations of
the labour laws.
