To our child actors playing these roles . There is a heady glamour to performing on Broadway- staying up
late , being surrounded by autograph seekers at stage door – when your school friends are at home
doing holiday pageant with crepe paper props. These young actors playing these young characters will
grow. But these young characters that they play will never grow only if their creator will allow them.

Enter MR. BROADWAY joins EMCEE and sing

NEW YORK, NEW YORK from “On the Town”.

EMCEE:
Broadway. A street in New York City. A place where dreams are born and stars are made.

The culture of New York City is reflected in its size and ethnic diversity. Artists have been drawn into the
city by opportunity. A dream, an opportunity, now the reality.

What I Did For Love

Mr. Broadway:

Some of the greatest Broadway stars of all time are the Divas and Divos of all time.

Theatre is nothing like stars of great voices , astonishing presence and dazzling wattage.

EMCEE:
Divos and Divas acting chops match their vocal power. They masticates the scenery, they leave a mark
They sports their pain like pearls. Hurt and indomitability define them, converged in a multi-octave, act-
concluding anthem that tears down the house and obliterates all memory of everyone else on stage.
