DESCRIPTION
C 0701
Moulded from industrial grade, white talc-filled polypropylene, this fitting has been
designed to mount directly to the underside of concrete slabs or inaccessible
ceilings. The housing is mounted to the surface using concealed internal fixings.
Once mounted, the grill and speaker assembly simply screws to the housing.
Speaker cable entry can be either from the rear, or via surface mounted conduit
(four 19mm conduit knockouts are provided). Ideal for use in plant rooms,
warehouses, shopping centres, malls etc.
The 100mm speaker is fitted with a multi-tap transformer enabling power taps of
0.33W, 0.66W, 1.25W, 2.5W and 5W on 100 volt line PA systems. Also fitted with
a 4 way wire protected terminal strip and a 22µF bi-polar capacitor, for line
monitoring applications, as used in emergency fire evacuation systems.

Sturdy steel cabinet construction supplied with conduit “knockouts” with industrial
grade white powder coating. All models include the REDBACK Slimline series
white speaker grills, complete with flush screw covers. Sides are flanged with pre-
drilled screw holes for easy installation.
Each speaker is fitted with a multi-tap transformer (enabling power taps of 0.33W,
