Health Problems of Family A

The House Assessment and Gordon’s health Assessment of the family that lives
in Via Verde Village was used to determine their different health problems and it’s
etiology and symptoms. From these twenty different problems, we derived top health
problems with the help of the following criteria: Nature of the Problem, Modifiability of
the Problem, Preventive Potential of the Problem and Salience of the Problem.

1. Ability to utilize community resources for health care with relate to adequate
knowledge of community resources for health care in taking vitamins as manifested by
“Nanghihingi lang kami ng supply sa center tas yung binigay na vitamins nila yung
iinumin namin” The Family A is currently taking vitamins daily when supplied by the
barangay. Presence of vitamins and food supplements.

wala siyang ibang makakain eh” The Family A consist of a family member with this
disease that causes disruption in her health and is evident in his darkened nails and
pale skin. There is a presence of stock of instant noodles.

gatas” The Family A is currently practicing breastfeeding in their youngest family
member to save money.

current source of drinking water is a faucet located in a lot outside their house instead of
purchasing purified water.

of Family A is a bungalow style of house. It is mainly made up of woods and galvanized
iron sheets. The mother usually cooks at the back of the house using wood and
charcoal.
