Aims:- introducing vocabulary related to household items


-practising the vocabulary acquired
-describing shape, size and colour
-saying what things are for
Vocabulary:
active: camera, kettle, washing machine, vacuum cleaner(hoover), freezer, video, walkie-talkie, dishwasher, coffee
machine,iron, hair dryer, refrigerator(fridge), walkman, cassette recorder, round, square, rectangular
Grammar: for+ ‘ing ‘ form

Objectives: By the end of the lesson students will be able to:


a) Use the vocabulary related to the household items in different contexts (Camera, washing machine, vacuum
cleaner, freezer, video, mobile phone…etc)
b) Describe household items according to shape, size and color
c) Construct sentences of their own;
Skills: speaking, listening, writing, reading
