Keeping Up with the Joneses

February 2018
“Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven…for where your treasure is there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:20-21
Dear Family and Friends,

How we live our lives on this earth matters for eternity. We can live for the moment and hold on to the things of this world for
as long as possible, or we can use this life as a means of preparing for the next. Eighty or ninety years seems like a long life
until you compare it with forever and ever. Let’s keep our eyes on the future and invest our time, energy, money, talents,
words, actions, relationships, etc. on the things and ways that have value in heaven.

We are trying to get back to work on the property now as we can. The extra cold and wet weather in December and January
kept us from doing very much work. Our new goal for beginning some ministry activities is March. All we lack to get started is
installing the exterior lights on the poles around the parking area and road and a few miscellaneous odds and ends. There is
plenty more work that needs to be done, but that can continue along with ministry. Please pray for the Lord to provide a new
Drive-In missionary/staff person or couple who can serve as a facilities manager for the on-going ministry operations.

No out-of-the-country trips are planned this month but we will attend a missions conference, speaking engagements, and
other responsibilities throughout the month. It seems there are always more things to do than time to do them, but the Lord is
so good to give us many opportunities to serve Him and we are thankful.

Our Provider...has blessed again this month. We’ve finally been
able to print out a new prayer card! It is hard to believe that only one
son remains in the photo! Joseph is back at college and the Lord has
provided his scholarship. Jennifer has moved in with a girl-friend while
searching for her own place. Timothy (turning 30 this month) is
looking for a job, but Carolyn also lost her job and God has already
provided another one for her. He also provided a new church
fellowship for them. Eri has begun working at Chick Fil A with Stephen.
We enjoyed visiting David’s church where he is active in the choir and
Cricket is teaching and using her creative talents of decorating. We
have several birthdays this month. Our home has been full of
company off and on and we are grateful for plenty of room to share
with others. We (I) enjoyed another snowfall in January, which is very
rare for Alabama. The photo shows Alabama “snow” in August (cotton
fields) and Alabama “snow” in January (same field)! God is good and

we sing praises unto His name. In His love, AnnaMae

We are also always thankful for you. Your love, prayers, encouragements, and support lift us up and move us forward
with continued zeal to serve the Lord and see souls saved. Thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord and us. We know
you are storing up many treasures in heaven. May the Lord bless you greatly.

In His service together, Mi ke & A nn aM ae a nd f amily
