2. What theme, concept, or personal meaning do these songs have as a 
whole? Explain your choices.  
 
-The concept these songs have as a whole is that of realizing how 
worthless are our efforts to find a meaning in this life through love 
and art, fighting to get what somebody else wants, always looking for 
something that may not be there at the end, yearning for eternity, 
while lacking the innocence of a child, moving away from nature more 
and more, we become blind on our own way home, that it is so easy for 
people to fool us, to lie about what may happen next, that’s why I 
choosed John Cage’s 4’33 at the end, to show that at the end there may 
be a new beginning, or nothing at all, just silence, a contemplation 
of our memories. At the same time, it can be contrasted with the 
struggle of accepting death and the lightness of being, and of being 
afraid of the unknown, of the future, of the void, the empty space, 
the nothingness, the meaninglessness.
