Copyright and
legal issues
Copywight- I will be using my own art and story so there wont be any copywright issues
with those, however, I may be using different fonts for the text and I must make sure that
they are fonts I either own or have permission to use and are royalty free.
I will need to be aware of Slander and libel rules on my Comic and I need to make sure I
wont be offensive to any specific or types of people in my comic. However, since the
characters and world that they live in is all fictional I don't think that will be too much of
an issue.
I will need to make sure the content is appropriate for the age range of my target
audience. As my target age group includes 16 and 17 year olds I will have to be aware of
the content rules surround ing minors above the age of 15.
I wont have to pay the warranties as I will be creating all the work myself and it is all
original content

Publishing
Publishing : I would be looking to publish the the comic book under DC comics. This is
because I believe that my comic would fit in well with the comics they already have in
there stock because it is a superhero comic and also focuses on a female superhero and
female superheroes are in popular demand and seem like a successful investment for DC
comics since the recent reboot success of WonderWoman and also DC would provide
more opportunities for expanding the Wildfire brand as if successful DC would make
merchandise and possibly look into the possibility of creating a Wildfire movie or Tv
show.
