Sports Development Funding 2016 - 17 Funding £8375

Rationale for Expenditure

• As swimming is an activity that can be done with the family, we believe it is important that pupils have every opportunity to get
used to going to the swimming pool, to learn to accept the sensory environment as well as learn to developing early swimming
skills, and learn to swim.
• To improve fitness through using bikes and scooters and to build skills and confidence in cycling so that pupils may join family
activities. In order to develop understanding of safety when cycling, more able pupils will complete Bikeability.
• The activities provided through the Sports Development Grant and Pupil Premium Grant were planned to complement each other.
