Health officials are urging travelers headed to Brazil to get yellow fever vaccinations due to a recent
deadly outbreak of the virus. The US Embassy and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued
a health alert on Wednesday for travelers visiting the cities of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and the Brazilian
states of Espírito Santo and Bahia. Yellow fever is a potentially deadly viral hemorrhagic disease
transmitted by infected mosquitoes and its vaccine provides up to 99% lifetime immunity. Brazil has seen
several outbreaks of yellow fever since the beginning of 2017 but the country's government had said the
virus stopped spreading in September, according to the World Health Organization.

Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter who
is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. In just over a decade he
created about 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, most of them in the last two years of his
life. They include landscapes, still lifes, portraits and self-portraits, and are characterised by bold colours
and dramatic, impulsive and expressive brushwork that contributed to the foundations of modern art. His
suicide at 37 followed years of mental illness and poverty.

activist. Sometimes described as "the father of modern linguistics," Chomsky is also one of the founders
of the field of cognitive science. He is the author of over 100 books on topics such as linguistics, war,
politics, and mass media. He holds a place as Institute Professor Emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology (MIT).

A suicide bombing has killed at least 95 people and injured 158 others in the centre of Afghanistan's
capital, Kabul, officials say. Attackers drove an ambulance with explosives past a police checkpoint in a
secure zone, home to government offices and foreign embassies. The target is believed to have been an
interior ministry building, but many people were hit while walking by. The Taliban have said they carried
out the attack, the deadliest for months.

Linguistics is the scientific study of language, and involves an analysis of language form,
language meaning, and language in context. Linguists traditionally analyse human language by observing
an interaction between sound and meaning. Phonetics is the study of speech and non-speech sounds, and
delves into their acoustic and articulatory properties. The study of language meaning, on the other hand,
deals with how languages encode relations between entities, properties, and other aspects of the world to
convey, process, and assign meaning, as well as manage and resolve ambiguity.
