Theme: do challenges make people grow as human beings?

Good morning today I’m going to talk about the way that challenges make people grow
as human beings.
I believe so.
In my point of view, challenges are like barriers that keep us from moving forward.
However, is it possible to overcome them?
Yes, if we use it in our behalf.
Since record, human beings have passed several divergences. We can say that this
overcoming was accomplished by learning from the failures and successes of other
people, that when giving us tips on how they overcame the difficulties they encountered
we became wiser and more experienced.
Two examples where it is possible to visualize this overcoming are:
- at a time when man encounters predators. They learned to hunt them as a way of survival
and harnessing the animal's potential. Meat as a source of food, skin as clothing and bones
could be used to make weapons like knives.
The second example is more recent, it occurred in the twentieth century a little by all the
countries of Europe, but the most interesting for me occurred in England. A group of
women who called themselves suffragettes fought for recognition of the sexism that
existed at the time in question and for women's right to vote. For them to be heard they
went on hunger strikes and the most shocking occurred at a major horse race where a
suffragette threw himself in front of the king's horse so that people would know of its
existence and that they would do everything to be heard.
In both cases we can observe an overcoming of difficulties where both were, although the
times are different both overcome difficulties to reach their goal.
