Pneumatic Linear Actuator/ Pneumatic cylinder(s) (sometimes known

as air cylinders)

-is a device used for converting pressure energy of compressed air into the
mechanical energy to perform useful work in a linear displacement to provide
straight line push/pull motion.

- are mechanical devices which use the power of compressed gas to

produce a force in a reciprocating linear motion

Linear Chain Actuators

- are mechanical devices consisting of sprockets and sections of chain

which are used for providing linear motion via the free ends of the specially
designed chains. Linear chain actuators are used primarily in motion control
applications for providing a straight line push or pull motion.
- an actuator that creates motion in a straight line, in contrast to the circular
motion of a conventional electric motor.

industry - for automating butterfly valves,
ball valves and air dampers in the chemical,
beverage and pharmaceutical industries as
well as in water treatment

Rotary Actuator

- is an actuator that produces

a rotary motion or torque.

Ball Screw Actuators

A ball screw is a mechanical linear

actuator that translates rotational
motion to linear motion with little friction.

Vacuum Actuators

The vacuum actuator consists of an air

tight plastic house with a rubber membrane
on the inside. Attached to the membrane is a
spring loaded disc executed with a rod. When
vacuum is applied the membrane will be
elongated and the rod will move in a linear
direction.
