CANADIAN NURSING REVIEW-Advanced for International Nurses

If you are a Philippine Registered nurse wanting to become a Registered Nurse or


Licensed Practical Nurses in Canada, this is the ONLY program for you

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
 Must be registered as an RN in country of origin
 Have a minimum of 1,125 hours of nursing experience or graduated from a
basic nursing education program within the last 4 years
 Minimum IELTS 6.5 overall for the 12 month CNR Advanced
 Minimum IELTS 5.5 for the regular 18 month CNR)
 Pass the School’s Comprehensive Nursing Assessment
 Pass an interview with the school’s advisor

PROGRAM MODULES AND DURATION

1. Canadian Nursing Review


6 months and 3 weeks
The student will need to have eligibility for their SEC/OSCE or LPN exam or NCLEX
or NCAS before getting to take their exam/workplace prep modules. The student
should aim to achieve an academic ielts scores of L7.5 R6.5 W7.0 S7.0, apply for
Nursing Assessment, then apply to the Regulating Body to get the eligibility.

2. Workplace Prep and Nurse Licensing Exam Prep (NCLEX-RN or CPNRE)


About 1-2 months. This is the actual nursing examination review.
The student will also need to have achieved their nursing license before they can
do the co-op work experience component.

3. The Co-Op Education Work Experience


To complete 250 hours RN experience (6 weeks approximate)

4. Leadership in Nursing
Students can continue working. Very often, the job that they are completing the
250 with is the job that they have secured as their permanent job. If they weren’t
getting paid for the 250, they will get paid once they start working there
permanently.
Leadership in Nursing can be completed online from wherever they are in the
country. This can be completed in less than one month duration.

Overall:
Since 1999, employers who have hired our grads before know that they are getting
int’l nurses who are workplace ready for the Canadian workforce.
The school will also guide the nurses through the registration process because that
is also part of help them achieve the end goal, to be registered and work as nurse
in Canada.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

1. Send to school the applicants CV proof of registration and ielts. Installment


1 for AMAC.

2. Phone Interview with the school representative. This would be scheduled


through AMAC. The interview would be conducted at the applicant’s house
or cell phone, but the school would communicate with AMAC to set up this
appointment.

3. If approve, applicant pays the non-refundable fee of C$300. They may opt to
pay C$50 first then they can take the online comprehensive nursing
assessment test. This further confirms their nursing background. If they pass
this, they are accepted. Then they can pay the balance of $250 application
fee and submit the enrollment application form and admissions documents.
They can also pay the full C$300 to save on bank charges if they wish to.
4. The school will send us the invoice. This is the cLOA, conditional Letter of
acceptance that will detail the remaining tuition fees to be paid.

5. Applicant pays the tuition fee in full plus airport pick up and accommodation
placement fee if applicable. The invoice includes the homestay fee, medical
insurance, textbook/ materials fee, etc.

6. School will send us the completed documents for visa application. Including
the official LOA(Letter of Acceptance) and a letter of late acceptance, just to
address any visa processing delays that may occur. Total fees must be paid
no later than 30 days prior to the start of your program. Installment 2 for
AMAC. Start of visa preparation and lodgment.

7. Visa approval. Installment 3 for AMAC
