Dear Students,

Welcome to the Second year PGP (Term-6).

Following is the criteria of student distribution in COMPULSORY courses.

The compulsory courses, BLDR and STSM is proposed to run in 7 sections. Students will continue
to attend the compulsory course as per their Section 1 (BLDR(S1), (STSM(S1), Section 2 (BLDR(S2),
(STSM(S2), Section 3 (BLDR(S3), (STSM(S3), Section 4 (BLDR(S4), (STSM(S4), Section 5(BLDR(S5),
(STSM(S5), Section 6(BLDR(S6), (STSM(S6) and Section 7 (BLDR(S7), (STSM(S7).

a) For Electives BLOS, RMBK, M&A, IMKC, ADBA, FMEX & OPST(Running in 2
Sections)

The above mentioned electives will run in two sections. The PGP Office has allocated all such
students who have opted for the above electives to ‘SECTION A [Abbreviated as ‘SA’] and SECTION
B [Abbreviated as ‘SB’]. Section A is mentioned as ‘SA’ along with the particular course and Section
B as ‘SB’ in the timetable for Term- 6 which you may kindly note.

The methodology followed in the allocation of students to ‘SA’ and ‘SB’ is as follows:

SECTION A (SA)
SECTION 1, 2, 3 & 16F701 – 16F730

SECTION B (SB)
SECTION 4, 5, 6 & 16F731 – 16F757

b) For Electives MDSS & PSSN (Running in 3 Sections)

The above electives will run in three sections. Students who have opted for these electives are
allocated to ‘MDSS1, MDSS2 & MDSS3, & ‘PSSN1, PSSN2 & PSSN3’

The REVISED methodology followed in the allocation of students to the above electives, is as
follows:
MDSS1 & PSSN1

MDSS2 & PSSN2

SECTION 3, 4 & 16F711 – 16F730

MDSS3 & PSSN3

c) For Electives MKST & RTMT (Running in 4 Sections)

The above electives will run in four sections. Students who have opted for these electives are
allocated to ‘MKST1, MKST2, MKST3 & MKST4’, ‘RTMT1, RTMT2, RTMT3 & RTMT4’.

The REVISED methodology followed in the allocation of students to the above electives, is as
follows:

d) For all other Electives

For all other electives from various areas having smaller registrations, classes will run in one
section in the class room as indicated in the timetable.

Please note your sections on registration day (26th December, 2017).
