During my year long residency, I student taught at the Baltic Elementary School.
My first semester, I student taught in a first grade classroom. During my second
semester, I student taught in a fourth grade classroom. Other than teaching each
day, I dove into the teaching world as I attended all inservices, parent-teacher
conferences and various meetings (Ex: IEP, SAP).

DAYCARE ASSISTANT ​KARI’S DAYCARE

Kari's Daycare is an in-home daycare I began to work at when I transferred to
Dakota State University. When I began student teaching, I discontinued working
for Kari. Children that attend daycare range from three months to sixth grade.
Some of my responsibilities are caring for and feeding children and finding fun
and engaging activities for all ages.

During my time at CitiBank Family Center, I was responsible for watching
children ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade each day. We took children on
field trips and swimming several times per week. There were usually about forty
to fifty kids, so it was crucial to be alert, organized, and patient at all times!
College began in the fall, which caused me to leave CitiBank Family Center.
SUPERVISOR ​HILLCREST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
8/15 – 10/15
While working at Hillcrest Elementary School, I was responsible for watching
children at recess, during lunch and in the halls. This job required patience,
organization and have excellent communication with the children and other
supervisors. I transferred from SDSU to DSU, which is why I left this job.
