Bacterial culture

Introduction:

What are bacteria?

Bacteria are very small living microorganisms found in any medium,

usually millions and multiply rapidly.

- Most people do not know all the bacteria we have from our hands
to a glass of water, in everyday things, and how that can affect our
health if we do not have the right higiene.

- How can you detect the amount of bacteria in the products of daily
use?

To see how many bacteria there are in everyday products to our

hands we will make the "culture of bacteria" which is one of the
easiest systems to identify these microorganisms with: flavorless
gelatin and a petri dish, but can also be a flat container with cap.
References:

- According to (Richard E. Lenski, 2015) After 24 hours, 1% of old

bacteria are transferred to a new culture.

-According to(Clinica Multidisciplinada,2016) Says that the cell

phones of 200 doctors and nurses, 95% were contaminated by
microbes and bacteria.

-According to( Tasha Sturm,2016) The hands in different

environments were full of flowers, and millions of bacteria.

-According to(Lorena Lopez Carrero,2017) The number of bacteria

that can be identified in one hand ranges from 104 to 106 types.
Hypothesis:

My hypothesis is to check the existence of bacteria in the cell,

human hands and dogs, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa,
Clostridium difficile that produce diseases.

Materials.

*Unflavored gelatin.

* Petri dish or clear container with lid.

*Chicken soup

Methodology.

1-Dissolve the chicken broth and gelatin in ½ liter of boiling water.

2-Sterilize the flasks or petri dish with boiling water for 5 minutes.

3-Pour the mixture of gelatin and chicken broth into the jars and
wait for the gelatin to solidify.

4-Touch the gelatin with clean and dirty hands, sink the cell phone
and all the objects that we want to check.
Results and Analysis:

Once this crop was done I was able to observe the different types of
bacteria that exist in each object used to demonstrate the following
diseases caused by bacteria that are rapidly multiplying
microorganisms.

As the cellular is fundamental for the day to day we can get to take a
150 or more times our cell phone but what we do not consider is
what bacteria they have and what diseases they produce are the main
ones: Pseudomonas aeruginosa is one of the most aggressive and the
main reason why cell phones are not allowed in hospitals.

Clostridium difficile is the most present in smart phones and they

produce diarrhea and irritation in the colon, it usually affects older
people or weakened immune systems.

Corynebacterium this bacterium results in dysphasia which is an

infectious disease that affects the upper tract and can also cause
problems in the heart and cranial nerves but vaccines have reduced
infections.
Conclusion:

In the present experiment we knew some bacteria and diseases that

can be produced from a simple irritation of colon to respiratory
diseases for not having the appropriate hygiene.

References :

According to (University of Oregon, 2015) carried out a study where

it says that fungi can be produced, but it is very difficult that it turns
into an infection.

According to (American Journal of Infection Control,2015) aerus

bacteria can cause more or less serious infections and was found in
50% of cell phones and was less resistant to antibiotics.
