My name is VasilePascu and I am writing this recommendation in my capacity as a History

teacher at “Gheorghe Lazar” National High School, the second bestranked high school in
Romania.This institution is one of the oldest educational establishments in Romania and many of

scored the highest admission averages and the best results at the Baccalaureate exams.

AndreeaTene has been my student since 2015 at the History class. She has remarked herself as a
competitive and hardworking student, being one of the top students in her generation. During the
years she has achieved high academic grades, as her results show: at the end of the 9th grade her
average was 9,91, at the final of the tenth grade she graduated with 9.97 and in the 11th grade
she obtained 10 out of 10.Based on her previous results, I can predict an overall grade of 9,80 for
the Romanian Baccalaureate Exam from July 2018 Session.

Regarding her attitude towards studying history, she proved to have a high ability to notice the

temporal context. Moreover, she denotes a fine capacity in connecting historical events, in
understanding their causes that trigger their progress, the conditions that make the history course
change. Likewise I have noticed her capacity of understanding the subtle messages in historical
documents and her ability to select the information correctly in order to express it concisely and
assertively. When debating an idea or discussing a theory during class, she would always present

throughout the years due to her dedication, disciplined study schedule and the requirements of
our college. She is outspoken and inquisitive, making herself stand out in a collective where all
students are highly intelligent and ambitious.

I have been working with Andreea ever since she started to prepare for the Olympic contest of
history - national phase. Assisting to her personal and academic development, I consider I have
come to know her well enough to confidently say she is a rightful candidate for your law
university. For example, sheattended a two week summer law course in Oxford, where she was
remarked as a confident and eloquent public speaker, demonstrating the ability to hold
presentations and convey a clear and precise message.

school violence and social ethnic discrimination. Therefore, she was a militant in the group of
youngsters who organized the campaign YOUTH VOICE, HERE AND NOW that promoted the

entitled “CivitasARTtitude”writing an article in 7teen magazine.

Andreea is adaptable and easy to talk to, and these abilities earned her many friends both at
school and in national or international activities. I thus believe that she will flourish in a
multicultural environment and will continue to be active in extracurricular activities, to make
friends and develop her teamwork and leadership abilities at university. She has already an
international academic experience, thanks to the project “TOP Management SV-BI”, when was
selected to participate for a school exchange activity in England.

In addition, she completed her studies in foreign languages at Cervantes Institute where she
studied Spanish for three years.

I am convinced that due to her well-developed skills and impressive dedication to self-
development, Andreea will be a valuable gain to your university. Her abilities are well suited to
the study of a subject which requires hard work and a sharp mind, such as the study of law, and I
