Write a 1 - page essay on Terrorism and Revolution, in which you should refer to the global
political environment and the events that have taken place in the last 10 years.

In the last 10 years , international political situation has influenced the lives of all peoples
of mankind. Ambiguous situation and agitated, in terms of political, economic, financial,
situation, religious, etc. had a intense track on world population. These debates consequences
were felt in terms of revolution and terrorism theme all over the world.
“Terrorism is the cancer of the modern world . No state is immune from it. Terrorism is a
dynamic virus attacking healthy substance of society. It has the characteristic of a malignant
cancer : not treated , and that treatment must be drastically rising inexorably until it covered the
entire society that feeds and that leads to destruction . “ Paul Johnson1
The bloodiest terrorist attacks of the past 10 years have been:
- July 7, 2005 , London - were detonated four bombs , three in the London Underground
and fourth in a double decker bus - 56 people were killed and 700 were injured,
- July 23, 2005 , Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt - killed 90 people and injured more than 200,
- July 11, 2006 in Mumbai , India, killing 209 people and injured more than 700 in attacks
on some trains in the area peripheral city,
- August 14, 2007 , in cities Kahtania and Jazeera near Mosul in Iraq , were detonated
several car bombs , 796 people were killed and 1562 were injured,
- November 26, 2008 Mumbai , India, over 170 people were killed in following
simultaneous bombings in ten different places,
- Norway July 22, 2011 , a bomb exploded in Oslo and 93 people died . The author, then
attacked a summer camp on Utoya island organized by the Norwegian Labour Party .
But, the worst attack in recent years was that of France , in January this year, when two
attackers masked gunmen stormed the editorial offices and started shooting with automatic

weapons . Prosecutors Parisians have confirmed that 12 people were killed (10 journalists and
two police officers) and 11 wounded in the attack on the headquarters of the satirical weekly .
“Winning the battle against terrorism is given by the loss of support of terrorist organizations
in the communities they come from and their support , and not the number of terrorists killed or
captured . Understanding and knowledge of human factor in the structure of terrorist
organizations and differential treatment of supporters of terrorism are important factors of
success, and this can not be done only by technical means of intelligence , the need to develop
appropriate capacities for analysis and exploitation of human factors and ideology of terrorist
groups . Essentially, the most difficult at the same time remains eliminating factors which
contribute to this phenomenon.”2
Regarding the revolutionary phenomenon of the last 10 years , we can say that it took
some momentum , as people wanting more freedom. This freedom does not occur only as a result
of political oppression , but can occur, for example, as the international oil price revolution , or
for other example we can speak of the Greek revolution.
The dramatic drop in oil prices is the most important economic event of the decade ,
which led to multiple major implications affecting various sectors as well as producing
countries , importing or consuming.
Grecee was asphyxiated by a recession more severe than thought and influenced by the
black economy , the country seems to be inexorably destined bankruptcy, that fact generated a
popular uprising against the measures imposed by the EU .
The chosen theme is complex and can not be treated in a simplistic than the contents of a
page, which is why I limited to only a few elements essential presentation required .
