IMPROVEMENTS REQUIRED

 Provision of preliminary data sheet for every project prior to start of

design calculations.
 Neat presentation of calculations (standard format to be made in
December based on Higgins & Rogers, British Cement Association).
 Moment Distribution analysis method and Sub-Frame analysis to be
learnt.
 Standard rules for element designs (For e.g.: distance between 2 legs of a
link should not be greater than 150 mm, length of torsional reinforcement
at corners of restrained slabs to be 1/5th that of shorter span length etc…)
to be jotted down in separate notebook.
 Principles of curtailment and simplified curtailment rules to be learnt well.
 Proper estimation of loads and load reductions (where applicable) from
BS 6399 to be learnt well.

