SOLAR POWER SYSTEM COMPLIANCE.

All solar power systems designed and installed by Solar Shop Australia (SSA) comply with
the Australian Standard AS4777.

This standard AS4777 refers to both the inverter and the installation.

• Inverters supplied by SSA comply with the Australian Standard AS4777.

• Solar power systems designed and installed by SSA follow a strict set of guidelines to
ensure they comply with the Australian Standard AS4777.

The entire solar power system will be issued a Certificate of Compliance once an SSA
Electrician (all of whom are Clean Energy Council Accredited, formerly “BSCE qualified”)
connects the system and issues the Certificate of Compliance.

The Certificate of Compliance relates to the following Australian Standards

• AS4777.1-2005 , Grid Connection of Energy System via Inverters – Installation

requirements
• AS4777.2-2005 , Grid Connection of Energy System via Inverters – Inverter
requirements
• AS4777.3-2005 , Grid Connection of Energy System via Inverters – Grid Protection
requirements
• AS3000-2007, Electrical installations – known as the Australian and New Zealand
Wiring Rules
• AS5033-2005, Installation of Photovoltaic PV arrays.
