Dear parents and guardians,

This letter sent home with your child(ren) is to inform you that there will be a change in the format of
the report cards that will soon be going home. Over the years, we have had comments about the
structure of the report card, therefore we believe that this style will further help you understand your
child(ren)’s marks.

1. October 19th is Parent/Teacher conferences. It begins at 7:00 and continues until 9:00. We hope
to see as many parents as possible attend this night.
2. October 20th is a PA Day, and students will not be attending school this day. Classes resume
October 23rd.
3. November 1st is Bring Your Kids To Work Day. Students will be able to experience a day at work
with their parents or guardians.
4. November 17th is a PA Day, and students will not be attending school this day. Classes resume
November 20th.
5. December 22nd is the final day of classes before winter break starts.

Different than before, on the report will only be listed the subject and mark of your child(ren). Along
with their marks, will be included their overall average. Comments from teachers will be either told to
students, or can be discussed with you in the requested interview. If there are any concerns from the
teacher, expect for them to contact you to be able to discuss what will be needed to help the student
achieve their highest grade possible.

Thank you for supporting the change of the style of the report card, as we believe that simplicity is key.
