Dear Students,

I am Hari Haran and I take this opportunity to communicate to you.

to writers - What you pay to the agents only 35 to 40 percentages go to the writers and they don’t
pay for all the works also. So most of the times you don’t get good works, at correct times and only

Sustainable Development (ENGT 5115)
Assignment A:
Energy in
Sustainable
Development Goals
Introduction

Energy – is the driving force acting as the foundation for the development of the
nation. Right from producing goods and offering the best services for people, it
plays a vital role in all the processes.

Energy has a great impact on the Society, Economy and the Environment.
Environmental friendly production is on high demand in EU mainly because
most of their water resources have been polluted and hence they have identified
such processes which affect their resources and found steps have been taken for
their mitigation.

Critically analyse the role of energy in

Sustainable Development Goals

Development of the life of people, decreasing the poverty and

marching towards the development is possible when the shift is
possible towards the smart and effective use of Energy, possibly a
cleaner renewable source of energy. This should be more affordable
and should help to improve the methodologies of doing Farming,
offering the health services, providing sustainable water resources to
people.

Based on the arguments of Vanessa, Jan & Felix David (2010) it is

clearly evident that role of energy is not only good for the
environment but increases the profit of the industries. Industries have
to focus on the conventional energy methods, effectively use the
renewable sources like waste water recycling, bio mass, etc., in all
their processes supporting the good cause to save the environment.
Going in for these transitions will provide them high profitability over
a longer period of time.

Identify the main issues that may arise

in achieving these targets
Based on the views of Andrea & Fernando (2012), it can be observed
that one of the major barriers in moving towards sustainable
development is the lack of support from the government. In places
where it became successful, posed strong support from the
government like tax offers when they implement clean environment
policies, incentives to move to solar energy, etc.,

Possible solutions to the issues

Global Policies should be designed and the developing nations which
are not ready for the transitions from the conventional energy usage
(Most of the developing nations still relay on the Oils) must be
advocated and if needed globally pressurized to shift towards the
clean energy. Subsidies should be offered to the industries willing to
shift towards clean production methods.
