INTRODUCTION

 The KL ATCC provides Approach and Area Control Services to aircraft


operating in KUL FIR. For the approach control service, we provide traffic
control services for arriving and departing controlled flights to and from
an aerodrome. As for the Area Control Service, we provide the control
service to all controlled flights flying in KUL FIR. Apart from that, these
controllers also provide flight information services and alerting services
to aircraft within KUL FIR.

 KL ATCC’s Organization structure has the KL ATCC Directors as overseer


who monitors the operation of KL ATCC establishment with the Director
of ATC on the highest executive management in ATC.

KL ATCC structure is divided into 2 units on details.

 Office of Directors is responsible for good Corporate Governance and


Social Responsibility, Code of Conduct, Legal Matters, Procurement,
Documentation, Procedures and Standards, Airspace Development.
 Our Traffic Service responsible for the efficient provision of air traffic
services within the following areas:

 Approach control
 Area control
 Aeronautical information service

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

In performing my internship, it's a successful one I had to take the help


and guideline of some respected persons. First of all I am grateful to Allah
who gives me sound mind & sound health to accomplish my summer
placement. The completion of the task gives me much Pleasure. Then, I
would like to thank to my lecturer of this subject Miss Siti Hajar Md Jaafar
for the valuable guidance and advice. She inspired us greatly to
work, commit in this internship session. Her willingness to motivate us
contributed tremendously to my internship session . I also would like to
thanks her for showing me and my classmate some example and also
technics in the organization that related to the topic discuss of
our internship.

In addition, I would to thank to my classmate because of the availability


from all of them while discussing the topic, experience and ideas of
this internship session We collaborates together to find ideas that can be
included into this task to completion in print and sent to the lecturer
involved.

Besides that, I would to appreciate my internship supervisor which


Madam Laila Faridah Baharuddin. She is the person that in-charge in order
to evaluate my assessment and performance related in working industry.

As the most important person, I also want to thanks to Mr Jamil Khir


Mohamed as my Managing Director in Kuala Lumpur Air Traffic Control
Centre ( KL ATCC ) that giving me chance and opportunity to work in his
organization in order to complete my internship session within 4 month
until it's been done completely.
