Position We are seeking an Oil Assistant Engineer, to join the Facilities Planning
Description Department (FPD). FPD is responsible for the development and coordination
of the capital program throughout the Company. The successful candidate will
be part of the Oil Facilities Planning Division which is a component of the
FPD.

The Oil Facilities Planning Division (OFPD) comprises Production &


Processing Group, Upstream Group, and Master Plans & Major Studies
Group. OFPD’s responsibilities include planning and coordinating all crude oil
operations in support of hydrocarbon exploration and production; developing
and optimizing new hydrocarbon processing facilities; engineering technical
solutions and enhancing oil facilities optimization as oil fields mature into
secondary and tertiary recovery phases; and conducting studies to keep pace
with the best industry practice.

As an Oil Assistant Engineer, your primary role is to:


Assists in the execution of various tests as directed by superior. Collects
information and gathers data; takes measurements and does calibrations
independently or under supervision.

Assists in reviewing, compiling, and correlating engineering data from various


sources on an assigned subject for the specialist office or proponent.

Assists engineering staff to correlate data; helps to perform basic calculations


after introductory instruction. Assists in preparing comprehensive technical
reports and miscellaneous reports such as monthly status reports.

Helps to research background information of engineering and/or technical


problems, testing procedures, materials standards & specifications.

Coordinates with field production &: maintenance personnel to evaluate the


performance and maintenance history of engineering materials and/or
equipment.
Minimum As a successful candidate you should hold a Diploma in Engineering
Requirements Technology or a closely related field with at least 5-10 years of experience in
engineering support work, of which at least 2 or 3 years should have been
within the specialist area. You should have good command of English with
knowledge of engineering terminology
