The Principal
Rato Bangala School
Patandhoka, Lalitpur

Dear Madam,
I feel really proud that my daughter Gina Basnet has been studying in Rato Bangala for last
seven years and my son Ishan Basnet has been there for last five years. However, seeking better
opportunities in this competitive world, they will be joining The British School from January
2018. For me, it is not easy to share with you that coming Friday (22 December 2017) will be
their last day at Rato Bangala School.
I would have preferred that my children had appeared their final exams for this academic
session. In that case, the things would have been settled more normally than in the middle of the
session. However, the system in The British School did not let us to have the luxury of time.
Therefore, if there is any clearance to be made along with the security amount deposited at the
time of my children’s admission, I am happy to undergo all the due process; please let me be
informed about it. At the same time, I would like to humbly request you to provide me their
transfer certificates, character certificates and other related documents.
I am lost for words talking about your wholehearted efforts put on bringing them up. Gina was a
little child when she came to you. Now, she has grown up to be a teenager. So has been the case
of Ishan. They will be missing the loving teachers, caring staff and wonderful learning
environment Rato Bangala School is catering. During their stay through the years, they have
been able to acquire not only the formal education but also the essence of characters. Actually,
they were buds who flourished under your care and attention. Although my kids will not be
coming to Rato Bangala School as students, the fire that you have kindled in their heart will
continue to burn. The light you have given to them will continue to shine.
Truly, there were no reasons behind leaving the school except looking for a better opportunity.
Despite my children leaving the school, our good relation that developed through the years will
continue to exist and strengthen in coming days and years.
I along with my family sincerely wish that Rato Bangala School will continue to impart the
quality education to younger generations in the foreseeable future and beyond.
Once again we would like to thank all the teachers, administration and staff of the school for
their dedication, commitments and effort in nurturing our children.
Thanking you for your time and attention,
Yours Sincerely,

Ram Basnet
Guardian of Gina Basnet (Grade 7) and
Ishan Basnet (Grade 5)
