College students take the stress out of dieting by designing meal planning app.
Traverse City, MI, January 15, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Looma is a personalized meal planning application set
to launch on Indiegogo on January 15, 2018. The app will be released to the iOS App Store this summer.
Looma, which was founded by two Michigan Technological University students, eliminates common
obstacles that prevent successful dieting. The students, who will soon graduate with degrees in computer
science and engineering, say the Looma app will clarify and simplify health goals and general nutrition
choices by offering menu variety while reducing meal planning and prep time.
“Our entire focus is usability,” says co-founder Kyle Ludwig. “We're always asking ourselves, how can
we make this app easier to use?”
The swipe screen allows you to choose recipes that build your meal plan day-by-day. It includes recipe
directions as well as a ready-made grocery list and automatic calorie and macronutrient tracking.
Recipe suggestions and adjustable nutritional goals are are based on a user's profile with the following
