Dear Sir/Madam:

The students of Accountancy Program are sent out for their Practicum of 200 hours, to private or public
institutions, as a requirement for the degree Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology under CHED
memorandum order number 50.

This practice has a twofold objective: To enable students to observe and at the same time get involved in
translating into action the principles and theories they have learned in the classroom; and to enable them
to get actual exposure in a company work atmosphere, thereby gain more confidence when they formally
join the world of work after graduation.

We believe your renowned company is in the best position to help our students. The   arrangements   for

this Practicum are:
1. Students will have the opportunity to observe, learn, and do accounting and/or audit related
tasks in a real work setting;
2. Students will be exposed to different Accounting/ audit divisions of the company and evaluate
the existing Accounting System;
3. Students   are   required   to   produce   and   present   a   paper   containing   their   observation   and
recommendations   to the management of the Practicum Company and to FSUU Accountancy
Program;
4. They will work part­time as an apprentice during specific times agreed by all concerned parties;
5. They will report for weekly conference in the school at a scheduled time;
6. Their work performance will be evaluated by their immediate superiors, to be identified by your
company using the evaluation tool that will be provided by the university which shall form
60% of their final grade;
7. The trainee will also be monitored by the college practicum professor and program during the
entire duration of the internship;
8. The training period is equivalent to 200 hours.  Any special arrangement should be coordinated
to the program;
9. Allowances   and   other   benefits   with   monetary   value   from   the   company   are   optional.     The
program should also be informed of agreements concerning this matter; and
10.The Practicum Company will provide a Certificate of Completion to the student trainee after
complying with all the necessary requirements agreed upon;

We have attached the proposed Memorandum of Agreement for your reference.  Should you consider our
